Many of you had been part of this festival in the past and even for the present you are with us and I hope you will also be their for future but very few of you know about the beginning of the pratibha that is more of a talent search endeavor than a mere festival of competition. Which is began with an idea and took the shape of a collective vision. The aim to picture the history of pratibha is to make you realize that how a strength of an idea can construct the spirit to think beyond and make difference for a positive change.

A Doordarshan Live Phone-in Prorgram through which Mr. Anjum Parwez the previous District Collector of gulbarga listening to the grievances of the local public and answering to their queries and suddenly an unexpected question aired to Mr. Anjum Parvez by an undergraduate student Requesting “To create a talent search platform for the students of this region in discovering their talent in the field of literary and cultural discipline”.
Mr. Anjum Parvez responding to the anxiety of the question in a very positive and patient manner invited the student to his office and than how the seeds of pratibha your festival was sowed and a idea that took the shape of a collective vision.
I humbly recall with great respects recall all the great people who served the Land of peace and prosperity I.e. Gulbarga and made your festival “Pratibha” a meaningful and purposeful endeavor and took the concern to organize this feast annually without any constrains I should also mention here the numerous people who continuously directly and indirectly work with several hands day and night to make your participation as their success. The organizers, various sub -committees, Host institution, Juries, subordinate staff, back -office staff and volunteers drive with a common aim in their mind “Let explore the best talent and make the participation of abilities fruitful and memorable“. I would like to add to your knowledge Pratibha youth festival always strives to respect and judge your potential to the best with its full integrity and transparency where the best outsmart the better.

Pratibha has always effort to bring you the best and facilitate you with the opportunities that also be a medium of learning for you and act as a help and support in your career and social life whether it’s a communication skills events like debate, group discussion, or art events like classical vocal , non classical dance or liberal arts like Painting, collage, rangoli or creative event like Ad-zap. Etc.
The members of pratibha family are equally sensitive to their commitment and for this reason we have initiated a career counseling program entitled as “Pragati” that answers your all career related questions and sponsor programs like personality building, emerging trends in job market, youth and employment and preparations and practices for civil services examinations etc.

Pratibha envisions to mould the personality of a student and make him to interiorized that he is one among the equals and inferior to none. We believe all students’ possess enormous potential inherited in them it is only they have to realized it and channelized it at the right time in the right place. The opportunities are the means to enhance the quality of your potentiality and maximize it within yourself to excel. Pratibha acts as a meaningful means which provide the opportunities for the students to improvise their quality of talent among quantity of talents through a healthy competition of inter exchanging, appreciating, and enjoying.

Pratibha is completing her five years and time has passed so speedily, we have numerable memories, learning experiences, bundle of unintentionally committed errors, sweet and bitter experiences and above all your love and support. The Pratibha has provided large number of opportunities in her short span of her five occasions to approximately around ten thousand students but the greatest achievement for pratibha is she has made the place in the hearts of everyone today in Gulbarga and surrounding particularly institutions, intelligentsia, Parents, well wishers, and students.
